About the job

General objective:

• Myanmar-Rakhine/WASH programs in PKT and in STW

The main challenges:

• Access limited to the camps (none in PKT since Nov 2023)
• Remote working with supervisor and officer in STW

Priorities for the 2/3 first months:

• evaluate technically the team and activities/methodologies implemented
• elaoborate plan for capacity building of the team
• develop adapted methodology (especially focus on behaviour change)
• closely follow up activities implementation and propose tools/methodologies for monitoring and recommendation for improvement

Your profile

Education/academic background:

• At least bachelor degree but preferable master degree in public health or any related to WASH
• Minimum 5 years experience on a similar position, in the humanitarian sector

Specific skills and experience:

Technical skills

• Strong experience and skills in behaviour change
• Experience in capacity building
• Strong skills in SOPs review and recommendation

Transversal skills

• Autonomy
• Good analytical skills and proactivity
• Good adaptation of methodology according to the context
