A day in the life of a Senior Programs Manager, Haiti:

In the role of Senior Programs Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him;
- Supervise and oversee the Program Managers; conduct appraisals and encourage professional development, and take corrective action with Program Managers as necessary;
- Review program progress towards achieving planned outcomes. Supports the Program Managers in the design and execution of assessments, including baselines, midlines, and end lines;
- Monitor the progress of budget expenditures to make sure resources are being optimized;
- Develop new projects and proposals that align with the organization's in-country strategy and seek available funding opportunities alongside the Program Managers and the Program Development Officer and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) officer;
- Support the Country Director with strategic vision and planning. Liaises with International Headquarters (IHQ) technical advisors when needed;
- Be a spiritual leader for the IFS and National Staff; assess, manage, and report critical physical, emotional, or spiritual concerns of supervised staff;
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited university in Business, Economics, Health and Nutrition, Food Security, WASH, or a related field and at least five (5) years of related experience and/or training working with multi-sector programs (Food, Security and Livelihoods, Health, or WASH); or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Knowledge in budgeting, data collection and reporting, program management, allocation procedures for resources, funding priorities and requirements of external grantors.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Spiritual maturity; Able to keep the focus of work on the overall goal of sharing the gospel;
- Flexible and adaptable, Experienced in cross-cultural team leadership;
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire;
- Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required).
